Like many of you, I enjoy listening to podcasts while driving or doing other household tasks. Sometimes, it is a good true crime mystery podcast, but others help me understand the changing environment of accounting technology.
Here are some of my favorites:
- Accounting Today Podcast — This podcast series covers a variety of financial topics from industry leaders. Many are technology-based.
- Accounting Show – Formerly known as the Cloud Accounting Show, this podcast focuses on the latest industry news, with a slant toward technical topics for accountants.
- Count Me In – This podcast, sponsored by the Institute of Management Accountants, frequently covers topics such as robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and analytics.
- AccounTrends – The Intuit podcast covers many tax and advisory topics, including technology.
- CloudStories – This long-running podcast features accounting business solutions using online software. Recent episodes discuss AI, machine learning and bots.
- FutureFirm – Technology tips for accounting firms. Lots of actionable items here.
