Hi! I am Amy Igou. I am an Associate Professor at the University of Northern Iowa and the Director of the Master of Accounting program. Before becoming an academic I worked at John Deere where I gained 19 years of corporate financial systems.
I specialize in using emerging technologies in accounting. My love is to share these in the classroom.
This page is to highlight news items that would be of use in an Accounting Information Systems Class and provide other resources for those teaching this course. I am also sharing some of the tools I used not only in the classroom, but in my academic life. Besides technology, I like to promote certifications for accountants, whether it is a CPA, CMA or the like. I hope you find this site useful.
